Bandai Namco has detailed the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament, Toki Toki City, and the massive bosses of Dragon Ball Xenoverse.
The long-running Tenkaichi Budokai world tournament from the Dragon Ball series is making a comeback in Dragon Ball Xenoverse. You’ll be able to step into the ring and fight players from all around the world. There’s also a lobby for you to commingle with your fellow Z fighters.
Trunks, the time-traveler and son of Vegeta and Bulma, will be your guide in the game’s story mode. Thanks to his planning and diligence, all of the characters will meet up with the Supreme Kai of Time within the “Toki Storage Room.”
In the Toki Storage Room, players can meet up and converse with other players, customize their own character’s clothes and skills, train with their preferred master, and take up Time Patrol Quests (story mode) or Parallel Quests (cooperative mode).
You’ll be able to fight giant bosses like Great Ape Vegeta (in ether story mode or in cooperative quests), and Bandai Namco also teased a story alteration in reference to the “Battle of Gods” movie.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is launching across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC on February 13th in Europe and on February 17th in North America.
