There you are, minding your own business in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, drinking a lukewarm beer left over from the pre-war days while trying to forget that you may be growing a third arm out of your back … and then some fat jerk knocks over your drink. Not cool. This is what starts fights … and start a fight it shall, in a new mobile game, appropriately titled Wasteland Bar Fight.

A beat ’em up that looks a lot like an updated version of Taito’s Renegade, you play the poor sap whose wasteland libations have been tossed by unruly patrons. Made by Norwegian developer Kybernesis, the game has you fight off wave after wave of surly drunks until finally battling the mid-boss who apparently governs them. There appears to be an ability to build up and release your rage, which is understandable, considering how valuable beer is in a post-apocalyptic world.

The game will be available for Android by Christmas, then iOS and Windows Phone soon thereafter.
