Polytron Corporation has confirmed that Fez is finally hitting Playstation devices on the 25th of this month, and on the 26th in Europe. The new release will be a simultaneous one across Playstation 3, Playstation 4, and Playstation Vita.

The Playstation port was handled by Blit Software, and it definitely does not disappoint as it runs at a liquid smooth 60 frames per second and a 720p resolution on Vita, and a 1080p resolution on PS3 and PS4, while also running at 60 FPS. All three versions support cross save, meaning you can save your progress on a console and take it on the go with the Vita, or between a PS3 and PS4, for some crazy reason.

Polytron has confirmed that there aren’t many changes in the Playstation versions. However, they did make creative use of the Dualshock 4’s lightbar, saying that it “has been put to the task of bringing a little bit of Fez’s world into your own home, and you may not need to search for that dusty pair of red/cyan glasses to experience a very late-game easter egg,” that is, according to Polytron producer Marie-Christine Bourdua.
