Feminist app the game*hers which bills itself as “A safe & supportive space for women and femme identifying gamers to meet, chat, & play” has announced a partnership with Thunderpick, a crypto gambling service.

Fully endorsing crypto gambling, the feminist app announced “the*gamehers x Thunderpick will be working together on a game-changing collaboration that will shift esports, esports betting, and the gaming industry as we know it”.

The backlash to the announcement was swift and decisive, even from those who otherwise supported the mission of the game*hers.

Thunderpick itself is a crypto gambling site that is only licensed by the island nation of Curcao as the site is reportedly ineligible from licenses from other countries.
