Feast Your Eyes on the Retail Package for Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit!

Marvelous confirmed that Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit (or Dekamori Senran Kagura in Japan) is getting a physical release in the country, leading to much fanfare and rejoicing in the digital streets and pavilions surrounding Niche Gamer.

First up, Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! got a brand new trailer that shows off a mix of cutscenes, cooking rhythm gameplay, and of course, the clothing destruction the series is known for.

Now, we’ve got the first official box art, as well as some new physical release information for the upcoming retail package for Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit.

First run copies of the retail version will come with an art booklet and a soundtrack CD. The 36 page visual book comes with a myriad of character designs and opening animation storyboards, and some game related artwork as well. The soundtrack CD comes with the game’s theme song (sung by Asuka), all of the background music, and six bonus songs:

  • “Futomaki Ninnin” – Asuka (CV: Hitomi Harada)
  • “Break Out of Your Shell!” – Homura (CV: Eri Kitamura)
  • “Puri-puri Prisoner” – Yumi (CV: Yumi Hara)
  • “Zetsubou no Machieavellism” – Miyabi (CV: Hiromi Hirata)
  • “Rasetsu Shuradou” – Daidoji-senpai (CV: Yu Asakawa)
  • “Okakugo Mesareyo Teacher” – Rin (CV: Suzuko Mimori)

The retail package is also coming with downloadable characters Daidouji-senpai and Rin, and a whopping 48-icon avatar set.

Lastly, Marvelous confirmed that a “Dekamori Shinovi Pack” is going to be released as well. This is a dual release including Senran Kagura: Shinovi Versus and Dekamori Senran Kagura, and it comes with the “Delicious Downloadable Content Set”.

Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit! is coming to North America sometime this winter.
