With Fate/Grand Order still on its way, TYPE-MOON continues to show off new and interesting servants that will feature in the game.
During this past week’s airing of Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works], a commercial ran featuring a new servant of the Rider class. Last week saw the commercial for a new Saber in the same slot, in case you missed it. Coming off of the design by Huke (Steins;Gate) for the new Saber, the new Rider is designed by Sakamoto Mineji, a light novel illustrator who worked on the Lord El-Melloi II Case FIles.
The new Rider’s true identity hasn’t been revealed yet, but she is described as a young girl clad in armor. She is a genius swordsman who truly adores her older brother. During her lifetime, she was constantly persecuted by those around her for her exceedingly great talent. The commercial also features Saori Hayami as the VA for the new Rider.
Fate/Grand Order is still set to be released sometime this year with a scenario written by Kinoko Nasu focused on a strange take on the Holy Grail War, this time fought across seven different time periods.
