Tencent subsidiary studio Saroasis Studios has announced Fate Trigger: The Novita, an anime-inspired third-person battle royale shooter made in Unreal Engine 5.

Fate Trigger: The Novita is in development for Windows PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and both iOS and Android. A release is set for sometime in 2025 and the game will be free-to-play.

A closed alpha for the game is set for September 25th and interested players can apply via its Steam page, its Discord server, or completing a survey.

“Our team at Saroasis Studios has put in a ton of energy, effort and love to create an exhilarating free-to-play experience for all players to enjoy,” creative director Jia Heng said in a press release. “The upcoming launch is an incredible milestone for the company and we’re extremely excited to get Fate Trigger: The Novita into the hands of players worldwide.”
