A new TV special for multimedia franchise Fate Project is set to air on December 31st in anticipation of the new year.

The TV special was announced on the official Twitter for the mobile game Fate Grand/Order. The series began in 2004 as a visual novel by developer Type-Moon.

Type-Moon also released a teaser image featuring a small tuft of hair and cat ears peering from behind a countertop. The hairline likely belongs to Type Moon mascot Neco-Arc.

Fate/stay night [Heaven’s Feel] III. spring song was an anime film that premiered earlier this year in the franchise; and the Fate Grand/Order mobile game has been downloaded at least 60,000 times by overseas fans.

More details about the special were reported by Comic Natalie. Ayako Kawasumi (Fate/stay night, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure) and Mafia Kajita (Warlords of Sigrdrifa) will be hosting the program, while Kana Ueda , Nobunaga Shimazaki , and Noriaki Sugiyama will appear as guests.
