Farthest Frontier

Crate Entertainment have announced that their new city-builder Farthest Frontier has already sold a quarter million units in just seven days since it went into Early Access on Steam. Crate also believes that they are on track to cross the half a million milestone by the end of August.

“The reception to Farthest Frontier so far has been fantastic and we’re glad to see so many of you enjoying the game, providing feedback and reporting issues,” Crate Entertainment owner and lead designer Arthur Bruno said. The game will become the best version of itself thanks in part to your support and contributions. It’s the very reason we wanted to do early access again for our second title; the community is showing us that it was the right decision.”

On top of this positive news, Crate have also released their first major community update for Farthest Frontier as well.

The update was designed to address the biggest fan concerns as well as improve on performance and optimization, trading posts, game difficulty, and the general player start experience. It also comes with a new map, the “Idyllic Valley” which is promised to be a more resource heavy map, which should be perfect for new players.

Farthest Frontier is now available for Windows PC (via Steam) and is now early access.
