Indie developer Shiro Games announced a release date for Farever, their new multiplayer action RPG.
Farever is set to launch for Windows PC (via Steam) early next month, on May 6th via early access.
“Farever is about bringing the fantasy adventures we’ve always dreamed of to life in a shared world,” said Shiro Games CEO Nicolas Cannasse in a press release. “We want players to shape their own stories and make the world feel alive together when Early Access begins.”
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new trailer:
Step into the mystical land of Siagarta, a colorful, ever-evolving world where players forge their own path through adventure, discovery, and danger. Journey solo or alongside other players as you explore sprawling regions filled with dungeons, hidden wonders, and rewarding secrets. Climb towering cliffs, glide across the skies, dive into underground caves, and uncover powerful gear to shape your legend.
Create your own hero with four distinct classes available at Early Access launch (more planned for version 1.0), covering tank, support, and damage roles. Mix and match weapons, abilities, and talents to define your playstyle, with deep build customization and dynamic combat. Take on formidable enemies alone or join forces with other players to overcome challenging encounters and powerful bosses.
Explore diverse regions across Siagarta, each featuring unique environments, puzzles, platforming challenges, and valuable rewards. Engage in scalable activities that adapt to your group size, then return to town to develop essential crafting professions such as cooking and blacksmithing. Specialize in a trade, gather rare materials, and craft powerful equipment to strengthen your journey.
