Famicom Mini Console Announced for Japan

Not keen on leaving Japan behind with their mini-Nintendo Entertainment System release, Nintendo has announced a mini-Famicom console for Japan.

Setting you back 5,980 yen, the Famicom Mini will include 30 games on-board its plug-and-play hardware, including games like: Pac-Man, Metroid and even games exclusive to the Japanese release, like River City Ransom and Final Fantasy III.

The NES Classic Edition is launching on November 11th in North America and Europe. While you shouldn’t hold your breath for the Famicom Mini to come west, it will release in Japan on November 10th.
