Nintendo have released an overview trailer for Famicom Detective Club: The Missing Heir and Famicom Detective Club: The Girl Who Stands Behind.
As previously reported, the Famicom Detective Club trilogy is being remade; albeit without the “lost” third game. Players are tasked with solving two unique mysteries in a visual novel adventure.
In The Missing Heir, you play as an amnesiac detective tasked with solving the death of a chairwoman. This occurred on the night she announced her will, despite being in good health. This is further compounded by those refusing to say what they know, and local superstition.
The Girl Who Stands Behind is the prequel to The Missing Heir, with the detective now tasked with solving the murder of a school girl. Thanks to superstitions and rumor, the young minds at the school further muddy the case with their own beliefs.
