Fallout

Amazon has shared the first official photo from the upcoming Fallout television series.

The company shared the new image on their Twitter, which was also posted in celebration of Fallout’s 25th year anniversary, as the franchise dates back to 1997 with the original title by Interplay. Here’s the photo:

It’s important to note this is the first official look at the new series, as there has been numerous leaks relating to the filming of this series.

The image they shared doesn’t show many details, though it does show a partial glimpse of characters along with a look at one of the famous vaults from the franchise. Vaults were locations where humans hid due to series’ nuclear war, which led to the nuclear wasteland seen in the games’ various settings.

As it stands, what we do know about this upcoming series is that Walter Goggins will playing as a ghoul. Other additional information revealed was that its pilot will be directed by Jonathan Nolan, the co-creator of Westworld.

The showrunners for the series will be Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Captain Marvel, Tomb Raider 2018) and Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley).

As if right now there is no confirmed release date for when the Fallout TV series will be airing. However, we do know that it began production earlier this year – while it was first being way back in 2020.
