Jonathan Nolan, the Executive Producer on the upcoming Fallout TV series has likened the show to being a continuation of the Fallout games franchise.
Nolan made the statement in an interview with Total Film, saying it’s: “almost like we’re Fallout 5”. He then went on to share his enthusiasm for the project and their collaboration with Bethesda’s Todd Howard on the project.
In typical Fallout fashion, the series features Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) who was born and raised in Vault 33, but when a rescue mission sends her to the surface she’s forced to confront the decaying society left in the wake of nuclear warfare.
Other cast members include Kyle MacLachlan as Lucy’s father, Walton Goggins as a bounty hunter called “The Ghoul”, Aaron Morten as Brotherhood of Steel squire Maximus, and others.
The Fallout TV series is expected to premiere on April 12, 2024.
