Fallout 76 launches for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 this summer

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios announced Fallout 76 will release its current-gen console ports this summer.

The previously planned current generation ports for Xbox Series X|S and PS5 will launch sometime this summer. The ports were previously set for early 2026.

Here’s what to expect in the big current-gen ports across Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro:

  • Targeted 60 FPS across Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro.
  • Improved draw distances.
  • Improved shadows.
  • 4K resolution (on compatible displays) on Xbox Series X, Xbox One X, PS5 Pro.
  • VRR (on compatible displays) on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, PS5 Pro.
  • PS5 and PS4 Pro will support 1440p while previous generation platforms will continue to support 1080p.
