Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios announced they’re bringing Fallout 4 to the latest Xbox and PlayStation consoles.

The latest mainline game in the series is coming to Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 sometime in 2023 alongside a “next-gen update” for the game’s PC version. The Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 ports will be a free upgrade for owners on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Fans can expect the new features to include higher framerates, more bugfixes, support for 4K resolution gameplay, and extra Creation Club content.
