CMD Studios have announced upcoming 2D Metroidvania action-RPG, Fallen Tear: The Ascension, will be getting a free teaser demo.

Fallen Tear: The Ascension is set in the fantasy world of Raoah, and features a mixture of 2D action-platforming and JRPG mechanics. You play as Hira, a mysterious child searching for the 22 Fated Bonds to learn about his origins, and save a loved one. Explore the world of Raoah and upgrade Hira by recruiting allies, gaining their trust, and unlocking their unique special abilities.

Embark on a journey with the mysterious youth “Hira” as he goes on a quest to unlock the secrets of a dangerous fantasy world to save a loved one. Navigate treacherous terrain, fight powerful monsters, and grow with experience to prepare for the challenges that lay ahead.

Explore the world of Raoah
Raoah is filled with many different and unique locales: from towns bustling with daily commerce, to the crumbling ruins of temples for ancient, forgotten gods. Each of these different locations offer new challenges and secrets for the player to uncover and overcome.

Awaken your Ascensions
As Hira grows in power, he gains abilities called Ascensions which allow him to traverse the environment and overcome his enemies. These range from powerful strikes that break walls to dashes that can be done both on ground and air. Find them and the world will open up to you!

Find the 22 Fated Bonds
Find and recruit 22 different “Fated Bonds”, unique characters chosen by ancient pacts, whose Talents will assist in the accomplishment of his mission. The Trust forged and collected from these connections will unravel powers hidden within Hira’s enigmatic origins.

Unite to Win
The combined powers of the Fated Bonds manifest as powerful abilities. Certain Bonds have a synergy with each other that can be called upon when they are in the same party. Use these Unity Attacks to turn the tide of battle!
