Mediatonic has just pushed the latest update for their recent title Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, introducing Easy Anti-Cheat and new changes to the game’s stages.
A recent trailer from publisher Devolver Digital shows off the new changes coming to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Stages will be “remixed” and be slightly different in order to keep things fresh. The trailer shows a few of these changes such as some see-saws placed longways in that particular race, and new obstacles added to team games.

“Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout’s fusion of TV show obstacle course mayhem with a ‘battle royale’ quest for the crown has been delighting players, and today’s mid-season update adds a whole new layer of colourful chaos, full of fiendish takes on familiar rounds and some surprising twists to keep those jelly beans on their toes.
But that’s not all – Mediatonic has also implemented Epic’s Easy Anti-Cheat in order to combat players using tools that hook into the game to apply hacks to our unsuspecting Fall Guys. Easy Anti-Cheat is used by the best in the business and will mean our jelly beans receive the very best protection from the bad eggs seeking to exploit them.”
Easy Anti-cheat has also been added to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. According to Mediatonic they have been able to identify cheaters and have been acting on it by sending cheating players to a “Cheater Island”. On Cheater Island cheating players are supposedly matched only with other cheaters. This has changed and now cheaters are simply unable to log-in, Mediatonic cites the poor optics of games being uploaded full of cheaters as the reason for this change.
It’s worth noting that many players are saying that the game no longer works on Linux systems with the introduction of the Easy-Anti Cheat software.
The new mid-season update also introduces a new gimmick called “Big Yeetus”. Big Yeetus is a large spinning hammer similar to the ones that appear on certain stages already. However Big Yeetus is noticeably larger in size and positioned differently from other hammers, allowing it to be used in a variety of ways by crafty players.
