Fall Guys announces new Invincible skins

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout Invincible

The cartoony game show battle royale game Fall Guys is still going and developer Mediatonic announced a new set of skins based on of Invincible.

These days Fall Guys has nearly as many skin crossovers as Fortnite, which isn’t a big surprise since Mediatonic got bought out by Epic back in 2021.

Now Invincible is joining the ranks of Disney, Hatsune Miku, and more with their own line of Fall Guys skins featuring Invincible, Atom Eve, and Omni-Man as collectible skins.

Invincible is a comic series from Image Comics which ran from 2003 to 2018. The series is enjoying a surge in popularity after Amazon produced an animated show based on it back in 2021 which has been renewed for a second and third season.

The series follows the titular Invincible, or rather Mark Grayson who’s the son of the world’s greatest super hero Omni-Man and a human woman. Mark does his best to try and be a super hero like his dad, whose powers he’s seemingly inherited; but beneath all of it is an intergalactic conspiracy with Mark’s father at the center.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is Mediatonic’s big break after working on games like Bejeweled 2 or Hatoful Boyfriend. Games take place in sets of 100 players which are slowly whittled down through each round. The rounds consist of knockout style games and races similar to the challenges in game shows like Takeshi’s Castle.

After a couple rounds and only a few players left, players will be put into a winner-takes-all challenge. The prize at the end is a shiny gold crown which can be spent in the in-game shop for cosmetic items.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on Windows PC( via the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. You can check out our review here. (We recommend it!)

The Invincible skins will be available beginning January 5.
