We’ve learned that Falcom Corporation is working on PlayStation 4 versions for both The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II.

The news comes via the first issue of a special magazine focused on the series, published by Dengeki (via Games Jouhou). In the magazine Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo, who noted that Falcom is actually preparing PlayStation 4 ports for both games.

Further details weren’t confirmed, however Kondo said that he hopes to share more information soon.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel is now available for PC, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita, while its sequel is now available for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita – with a PC release coming in the future. The third entry in the series is coming to PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 28th.
