Most Nintendo games will never come to PC, hence why the fake Animal Crossing: New Horizons listing on Microsoft Store had lots of people scratching their heads.

The fake Animal Crossing: New Horizons listing on Microsoft Store (via Nintendeal) was originally spotted on April 30th, and here we are three days later with the game still available to buy and download for $3. If the price wasn’t a giveaway, the screenshots are also a dead giveaway – the game is a cheaply made game with animals crossing a road.

To be clear, the game uses official Animal Crossing: New Horizons promotional artwork, but it’s definitely just another cheaply made endless runner game. It looks very similar to the 2014-released Crossy Road, however it’s developed by a relatively unknown developed named HugoStudioLab.

If anything, this is a pretty good example of the Microsoft Store lacking proper moderation if something as blatantly illegal as this can actually get approved, published, and remain available to buy and download for days.
