Koei Techmo Games have revealed the guest characters for upcoming JRPG Fairy Tail.
As detailed in the press release, while players will be able to control members of the Fairy Tail guild in turn-based JRPG battles, they can also call upon guest characters to unleash powerful attacks in battle.
These include Ultear Milkovich from the Crime Sorcière guild, Lyon Vastia from the Lamia Scale guild, Flare Corona from the Raven Tail guild, and Minerva Orland from the Sabertooth Guild.
While the story unravels the events from Tenrou Island to the Grand Magic Games and beyond, players can also rest up at the guild hall. There, they can take on new quests, buy items and gear, and drink at the bar to gain status effects for the party. Players can also pay to upgrade their guild, increasing the items and drinks available to buy- not to mention upgrading how the guild looks.
Players can also talk to their allies, and even challenge them to one-on-one duels. Winning these duels can earn the player special rewards. Players can also challenge other guild members who turn up in their own guild hall, creating new battles that never occurred in the manga or anime.
