Fading Afternoon launches for Switch next month

Fading Afternoon

Publisher Circle Entertainment and indie developer yeo announced Fading Afternoon is finally coming to Switch next month.

Fading Afternoon is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 6th, via the eShop. The pixelated Japanese adventure game has been available for PC (via Steam).

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus a new trailer:

Seiji Maruyama is a middle-aged yakuza recently released from prison. Known as “Gozuki” (one of the demon generals from Buddhist mythology) he is the power that his oyabun counts on. But there is one thing his aniki is not taking into account: Maruyama is getting old.

Old tropes are here but you can choose to not follow them. The question is — does anything really matter that much now?

Features:

  • Multi-endings
  • Complex beat’em up action
  • Mini-games
  • City to explore
