F2P MMORPG Skyforge Heads to PlayStation 4 in March 2017

The free-to-play MMORPG Skyforge is heading to PlayStation 4 sometime next month.

Published by My.com and developed by Allods Team and Obsidian Entertainment, the MMORPG has over a dozen classes, stylish visuals, lots of PVE and PVP content, and more. Featured above, you can view the PS4 announcement trailer for the game.

If you register on the official website you’ll be able to get the bonus “Immortal Pack,” with PlayStation Plus users getting the “Immortal Plus Pack,” coming with even more items. The Immortal Pack includes: a Cyber Costume, Halo and Glowing Eyes, that are exclusively available in this pack.

PlayStation Plus users will get: the Wings of Vows – a cosmetic item that will make them stand out in any crowd as one of the first Immortals.

Here’s a rundown on the game, via its publisher My.com:

Skyforge is a new action MMORPG set in the world of Aelion. Surrounded by other planets, Aelion is under constant threat of invasion. These otherworldly conquerors have attempted to seize and enslave Aelion’s population, and eons of failed invasion attempts have left traces of strange alien technology and magic, transforming Aelion forever. Led by their great guardian god Aeli, the citizens have learned to use these technologies and magic against their invaders.

Before his departure into realms unknown, the great god managed to share part of his life essence. This power would be passed on to Aelion’s most worthy daughters and sons to forever protect his beloved planet. And you have been chosen.

Sounds cool, but it being free to play also makes me wary. I would rather buy a game knowing it wont have any little ‘inconveniences’ or ‘special content’ thrown in to goad me into spending money when I don’t know what I really should buy.

That was a cool trailer, but a F2P MMO is not my thing.

I don’t understand the whole knock on F2P games you get to try the game out without paying anything if it you don’t like it delete it

Most F2P MMOS Don’t force you to buy anything i’ve played many F2P mmos without spending a dime and got through end game content no problem

Hope it runs better than some of the other MMOs on the system. Neverwinter in particular is terrible.

How is this game? I remember thinking it looked amazing when it was first announced, but never got around to playing it.

Feature-wise its a fairly complete game.
Combat is smart targeting “action” with combos +cooldowns.
Lots of free stuff given away during events.
Outfits range from modern day to plate armor to future tech to bikinis
