Codemasters has announced F1 2017.
The latest in their ongoing Formula One racing simulation series will launch on August 25th across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Featured above, you can view the game’s announcement trailer.
The developer notes the game will have a “deeper” career mode, as well as multiplayer upgrades. A new Championships game mode is coming, as well as the return of some classic cars.
Here’s some of the first images for the game:
A few of the classics like Nigel Mansell’s 1992 Williams FW14B and Barrichello and Schumacher’s 2002 Ferrari F2002 are showcased in the above trailer. “Classics were incredibly well received when we included them in F1 2013, and in F1 2017 they are back and better than ever,” said game director Paul Jeal.
Classic cars will be available in-game within the main career mode, via invitational events. Publisher Deep Silver also noted the pre-order bonus for the game includes the 1988 McLaren MP4/4, which is coming later to all users as paid DLC.
