Titan Souls can best be described as Shadows of the Colossus meets Dark Souls. You must go against massive beings known as Titans with your skills, a single indestructible arrow, and one health bar. Your adversaries are powerful and one hit means the game is over. It will take nerves of steel to slay these gigantic foes.

Revealed on the PlayStation Blog, game development studio AcidNerve revealed more of their origins for the creation of Titan Souls, the new and highly ambitious action title. It was featured this year at Sony PlayStation’s Press conference at E3 2014 as the company talked about their independent, smaller audiences. During the conference, publisher Devolver Digital showcased their sizzle real which featured Broforce, Hotline Miami 2, and Titan Souls.

Some of the fascinating details mentioned that Titan Souls began as a rhythm game within a game jam but soon evolved into something more. Though the game drastically changed, they did keep the original theme to an extent and put in the punishing health system.

Titan Souls is coming to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita some time soon.
