Japanese developer AI Frog Interactive has announced Exelio, a new survival crafting game and their first release.
Exelio is in development at AI Frog Interactive, a Tokyo-based studio launched in January 2023 by Patapon series director Atsushi Ii and Swords of Gargantua producer Kiyoshi Shin. The game uses generative AI for “some of the UI icons” in the game, and to create 2D character designs as a reference for 3D designs.
Exelio will launch for Windows PC (via Steam) with a release set for sometime 2025. The game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2024 from September 26th through the 29th.
