EVO social media joke hilariously backfires


The official Twitter account for EVO, an annual esports event with a focus on fighting games, made a joke that backfired greatly.

The joke was posted with the idea that commenters were meant to finish an incomplete sentence, only it lead to a hilarious backfiring.

This led commenters to finish the sentence, and considering esports players have ended up in controversy, many were quick to type out some rather “negative” responses based upon real-life incidents.
