EVO 2022 livestream under PlayStation will include news from Capcom and more

EVO 2022

Parent company Sony Interactive Entertainment has shared details for EVO 2022, specifically that it will include news and reveals from various fighting game studios.

On top of the tournament itself, there will be “exciting content and reveals” from Arc System Works,  Warner Bros. Games, Capcom, SNK, and Bandai Namco Entertainment. One can only assume that one of the big reveals will be more content for the upcoming Street Fighter 6.

EVO 2022 will be in Las Vegas from August 5 through August 6th and will be celebrating its 20th anniversary. Also at EVO 2022, we will see the top competitors from around the world coming together to play the following games.

  • Street Fighter V: Championship Edition
  • Guilty Gear -Strive-
  • Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate
  • Tekken 7
  • The King of Fighters XV
  • Melty Blood: Type Lumina
  • Dragonball FighterZ
  • Granblue Fantasy: Versus
  • Skullgirls: 2nd Encore

PlayStation plans on interviewing staff from the above developers, as well as hearing from the top pro players and casters. As a Dead or Alive fan, it is sad to see the game is still not allowed at EVO, but EVO has been a yearly tradition for many fans of fighting games, and this year will be no different.

Happy 20-year anniversary, EVO, and happy 16-year anniversary to the famous Daigo Parry!
