As covered in our previous report, Nintendo isn’t allowing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate at Evo tournaments anymore as per the organizations previous statement. Details weren’t provided as to why Nintendo banned their party fighter from the tournament for the first time since its inception, however many speculate it could be due to its previous issues with one of their co-founders (who is no longer at Evo).
If you’re looking to register for Evo 2022, you can do so over on its official website.
Evo 2022 is running from August 5th to the 7th in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
