Was this game even good? It’s basically dropped off the radar at least for me so I guess it was forgettable?

I think the problem was that this series basically sold itself as modern Resident Evil but good and then Resident Evil 7 came out and revitalized the brand. Now the The Evil Within doesn’t stand out anymore.

Was good if you like the genre, though it had an open-world take on it which some didn’t like. I personally did.

Overall I’d put it just behind Nier and Cuphead for 3rd place in 2017. Maybe even slightly above Cuphead.

It’s a good game. Nothing that’s gonna blow anyone away, but totally solid. I got 24 hours out of my run and I think it was worth it.

It’s very run-of-the-mill. There isn’t really anything wrong with it, aside from the story and characters being a bit weak, but it’s definitely forgettable. It’s the kinda thing I would’ve rented back in the day and got a good weekend out of.

I’d rather they work on a new Switch version.

It’s better than the first game. It’s a good solid stealth-based survival horror game. I’d score it about 8.0 out of 10.

It’s not going to amaze anyone, but it will satisfy survival horror fans if they’re not too picky.
