ROCKFISH Games have announced Everspace 2 launches for consoles next month – bringing its open-world space shooter to home consoles.

Everspace 2 launches for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on August 15th, for $49.99. The space looter shooter will also be on Xbox Game Pass, and Maximum Games will offer a physical release on October 3rd that includes a SteelBook, an art book, and a digital soundtrack.

Everspace 2 will hit full release in April 2023 following its two years in early access on Windows PC for PC (via Steam, GOG, and Microsoft Store). The PS5 version will make use of the DualSense features.

“With space adventure games getting more attention than ever, we’re excited to bring EVERSPACE 2 to whole new audiences on Xbox and PlayStation this August,” said ROCKFISH Games CEO Michael Schade. “The two years we spent in Early Access when developing for our PC launch has served us well in the lead up to our release on consoles and we’ve used the last few months well, polishing an already rock-solid foundation. Series X and PlayStation 5 players can look forward to exploring the star systems of EVERSPACE 2 supporting 60 FPS when we launch later this summer.”
