Square Enix published the HD remaster version of the opening cinematic to Final Fantasy X, which originally saw release on the Playstation 2 back in 2001. Over ten years later, the game is still looking fantastic thanks to the HD remastering, although the CGI trailer is all pre-rendered.
The opening cinematic was developed by the Square Enix Visual Works studio, and it showcases the destruction of Zanarkand, a major city in Spira, the region in which Final Fantasy X and X-2 are set within.

Final Fantasy X HD and X-2 HD are set to release next week, on March 18th in North America and March 21st in Europe.
