Road Redemption is a spiritual successor to Road Rash, the classic racing combat game myself and many other gamers played years ago. The kickstarter funded game is currently in pre-alpha, and the developers at Darkseas Interactive have published a new gameplay video showing off some pre-alpha gameplay.

The developers have made a disclaimer, however, as the current build being shown off is pre-alpha, and as such the animations and visuals are a little rough. Still, the game is shaping up very nicely, I think the core gameplay is where this title will shine.

Road Redemption is set for a Wii U and PC release sometime later this year.
