Bloober Team has revealed the first gameplay and the European release date for their Bomberman inspired, grindhouse laden puzzle game, Basement Crawl.

The game is set for a January 29th release in Europe, and is said to be coming “soon” to North America. Basement Crawl is a multiplayer only experience, and it will set you back €9.99, ₤7.99, and $9.99 USD, respectively.

Bloober Team boss Piotr Babieno had this to say about the game:

“Basement Crawl finally gives PlayStation 4 owners a reason to invite their friends over to show off their systems – our amazing local multiplayer that is as addictive as it is competitive. Basement Crawl rewards skill and practice, which means a good player will never get cheated out of a win by someone who grinds with better gear. For any PS4 owner out there who is still looking for a really fun, truly unique multiplayer game for their new system, Basement Crawl is it.”

Basement Crawl will see players duke it out locally via four player matches, or online via the Playstation Network in eight player battle royale. We’ll keep you guys posted regarding the North American release date.
