Musical action adventure game Etrange Overlord launches in 2026

Publisher Broccoli and developer Gemdrops have announced a release date for Etrange Overlord, their new “sushi lane musical action adventure” game based on the original manga of the same name.

Etrange Overlord is set to launch across Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on March 26th, 2026 in Japan. The game will be shown off at Tokyo Game Show 2025, too.

Core staff on the game include character designs by Shinichiro Otsuka of Re:Zero fame, producer Sohei Niikawa (from SuperNiche), and original manga author Roman Kitayama.

The villainous young lady conquers Hell.

Make full use of rotating “lanes” on the battle stage, items, and gimmicks, Sing, fight, and conquer Hell with the fallen duke’s daughter, Etrange! The genre is a “sushi lane musical action adventure”!
