Enshrouded tops 3 million players, full release set for 2025

Enshrouded

Keen Games announced Enshrouded has topped 3 million players, news confirmed alongside the commitment it will hit full release with console ports.

The new milestone comes a few months after its last milestone of 2 million players, which the game managed to accomplish within a month of release.

Alongside the latest milestone is news that Enshrouded will indeed hit full release in 2025, alongside a console release on Xbox and PlayStation.

Keen Games has released three major content updates for the game since release, including: Hollow Halls, Melodies of the Mire, and Back to the Shroud, as well as four patches and over a dozen hotfixes.

Since its launch back in January 2024, Enshrouded has raked in some impressive stats:

  • Over 90 million hours of Enshrouded have been played — so far
  • Almost 150 million player deaths since launch (RIP, regen, repeat)
  • Nearly 700,000 players have reached the current maximum of level 25
  • Keen Games has doubled in size since the work on Enshrouded began.
    • The longest standing member has been with Keen Games for 19 years.
    • The newest member started at the beginning of August to bolster the QA.

Enshrouded was released for Windows PC (via Steam) on January 24th, via early access. The game is expected to be in early access for about a year.
