Japanese publisher Visual Arts has put Clannad sequel Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ up for voting on Steam Greenlight.
The story focuses on Tomoya Okazaki, Yuichi Nitta, the male protagonist from Clannad, and Tomoyo Sakagami, one of the returning heroines. The Key-developed visual novel was originally released back in 2005.
Fans can expect the drama to circle around Tomoya and his relationship with Tomoyo, as they live on the outskirts of the game’s city. Tomoyo’s brother comes into the picture with his ex-girlfriend and their out-of-wedlock child.
While the majority of the game will focus on the narrative of the three individuals stuck living together during a summer season, there is an RPG minigame that has the characters exploring dungeons, and battling monsters.
Tomoyo After ~It’s a Wonderful Life~ is set for a release sometime this summer. It’s worth re-iterating that Visual Arts is also self-publishing the visual novel Little Busters!, however it currently has no release window.
