When NIS America announced an English localization for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, many fans voiced their concerns over the quality of the localization, after their previous localization for Ys VIII had to be completely redone. Now, we’ve learned fans can rest easy with this game’s localization.

Former XSEED Games staff Brittany Avery, Ryan Thomson, and Kris Knigge have returned to work on the translation and localization of Trails of Cold Steel III. All three staff previously worked at XSEED, and have handled everything from translation, proofing, to editing on Trails of Cold Steel I and II.

To recap, the previous two games in the series, Trails of Cold Steel I and II, were localized and published by XSEED Games.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III is launching for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe sometime this fall.
