Indie developer Swimming Scorpions has announced Engine of Sin, a mech simulator where you operate a massive war machine against monstrous kaiju.
While most massive mech games have you generally piloting the machine from a first-person perspective, Engine of Sin has you play as a human inside the giant mech, managing its power levels, crafting ammunition for its weapons, and feeding its reactor core.
You play as the last surviving member of the mech’s crew and have to learn to master every system against all odds. Turn your giant metal coffin into the ultimate weapon against the huge kaiju beasts and help defend humanity!
Engine of Sin is in development for Windows PC (Steam), though a release date wasn’t announced.
Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:
Operate a titanic war machine from the perspective of its last surviving crew member in a desperate battle against the otherworldly Kaiju. Balance power levels, craft specialised ammunition, and feed your ever-hungry reactor ⟹ yet the greatest horror may already be sealed within your metal coffin.
Engine Of Sin is a first-person mech simulation game where you pilot a colossal war machine against world-ending Kaiju. Manage your reactor, reroute power between critical systems, salvage the ruins of Earth, and fire apocalypse-grade weapons in battles of epic scale.
