Amplitude Studios quietly announced a sequel to Endless Space prior to this year’s Gamescom expo – dubbed simply Endless Space 2.

The 4X sci-fi strategy game is set to release some time next year, although further details are pretty thin. An “amplified reality” teaser trailer was revealed for the game, however it only shows off some CGI events.

While more details for the game were sadly not confirmed at this year’s Gamescom, for now you can head over to the official Endless Space 2 website.
