This week’s Jump magazine has revealed two villainous characters for Square Enix’s upcoming 3DS RPG sequel, Bravely Second.
The magazine details the two new characters, Emperor Oblivion and Anne.
Emperor Oblivion is the (pictured above) masked man who basically makes a living out of conquering and spreading chaos across the world via his unstoppable military unit. He is also responsible for attacking the Orthodoxy during the peace signing ceremony, and for subsequently kidnapping the pope, Agnes.
Anne is a lot more mysterious than Emperor Oblivion, if that were at all possible. She’s a curious fairy wearing all black, and she follows Oblivion everywhere. She has somewhat of a cruel and relentless nature that isn’t always on the surface, but it does come out from time to time.
Finally, Jump has mention of game producer Tomoya Asano confirming that a playable demo for the game is going to be released very soon.
Bravely Second is coming to the Nintendo 3DS sometime this winter in Japan, while a western release has not been confirmed yet.
