Ember Lab Confirms PlayStation 4 Kena: Bridge of Spirits Players can Upgrade to PlayStation 5 for Free

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Ember Lab have confirmed that Kena: Bridge of Spirits will offer free upgrades from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5.

As previously reported, Kena: Bridge of Spirits is a story-driven action adventure game with fast-paced combat. Finding a team of small spirits called dubbed the Rot, players enhance their abilities, letting them manipulate the environment.

Replying to another user on Twitter, the game’s official Twitter account confirmed users on PlayStation 4 would be able to upgrade to PlayStation 5. “We don’t have the time limit details yet, but the upgrade is slated to be free!”

While Microsoft announced their Smart Delivery upgrade system first, Sony have appeared to be matching Microsoft with upgrading major titles. Previously Sony had stated “the overwhelming majority of the 4,000+ PS4 titles will be playable” on the PlayStation 5.

You can find the full rundown (via the Epic Games Store) below.

The Story
Kena, a young Spirit Guide, travels to an abandoned village in search of the sacred mountain shrine. She struggles to uncover the secrets of this forgotten community hidden in an overgrown forest where wandering spirits are trapped.
