Full Disclosure: I am friends with game director Falco Girgis and a few other staff members working on Elysian Shadows.
Elysian Shadows has seen their successfully funded Kickstarter campaign come to a close.
Elysian Shadows closed out to roughly $185,000 dollars, which is about $35K over their fundng goal of $150K. This extra boost of money allows the team to add in a new game plus mode, meaning players can re-enter the world of ES and bring their accolades into another playthrough.
The next generation RPG is heavily influenced by the classic Japanese RPGs of yore, while the team has added modern elements as well.
Now that Elysian Shadows is funded you can expect to see it released across mobile devices, PC, Ouya, and of course, the Sega Dreamcast.
