[UPDATE]
We have confirmation from Ansimuz Games that Elliot Quest is coming to PS Vita as well.
[ORIGINAL STORY]
Mexico-based indie developer Ansimuz Games have somewhat of a runaway hit with their pixelated, Zelda II-inspired platformer/puzzle game, Elliot Quest.
This is, if you consider the game’s success on the Wii U, of course. Now, both parties have made a pretty exciting announcement, PlayEveryWare is going to port Elliot Quest to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo 3DS.
While Ansimuz Games originally developed and released the game on the PC, via Steam, PlayEveryWare picked it up for a Wii U release. Alongside the new announcement comes a sizeable update for the Wii U original, including a new Miiverse Journal, and new Miiverse Stamps for users to use in their Miiverse posts.
“We are really excited to see how players will use this new feature” said PlayEveryWare co-founder Thomas O’Connor. “Elliot Quest’s Miiverse community is so amazingly positive and supportive of one another! They already help each other get through challenging areas while being cautious of spoilers, and sharing screenshots of all the really fun and surprising Easter eggs that they find on their adventures. The Miiverse Journal will make it easier and enjoyable for the community to share their experiences. We enjoy supporting the Elliot Quest community by creating features they can use based on their engagement and feedback.”
Finally, if you haven’t picked the game up, PlayEveryWare and Nintendo are celebrating the success of the game by offering it at a 15% discount in both North America and Europe, through the following two weeks after the new update in Elliot Quest.
