Frontier Developments have announced Elite Dangerous: Odyssey, DLC for open world Space Sim Elite Dangerous.

The new DLC will allow players to venture onto planets on foot, finding worlds untouched by civilization, or with long left remnants. Players will continue to have the same freedom as they did among the stars- whether it be through diplomacy, stealth, or all-out combat as they undertake “endless” missions.

Combat on the surface of worlds promises that players will be able to coordinate with teammates to use the environment, Commanders, SRVs, and Starships for a tactical advantage.

Players will also use social hubs to “form alliances, procure services, and even find expert support in highly coveted Engineers.” Here, players can also gain weapon upgrades and gear.
