We’ve learned the Elden Ring PC minimum specs leaked just prior to the hardware recommendations being quickly taken down.

While the Elden Ring PC minimum specs leaked, publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware are recommending (via PC Gamer) somewhat demanding hardware compared to previous releases from their studio.

Here’s a rundown on the recommended specs:

• OS: Windows 10, Windows 11 
•  Processor: Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 
•  Memory: 12GB RAM 
•  Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB 
•  DirectX: 12 
•  Storage: 60GB 

To compare, FromSoftware’s ninja-samurai action game Sekiro: Shadow’s Die Twice was released in 2019 and required at minimum 2011-era hardware. The above recommended minimum hardware ranges from a few years ago to as recent as 2020, so that is quite a leap in terms of specs.

The above minimum specs could actually be for the recommended hardware specs, and likely for users wanting a 1080p and 60 FPS experience as a minimum. We likely won’t know officially until the game launches later this month.
