Edmund McMillen Reveals Fingered, a “Whodunit Hyperrealisic Police Sim”

Edmund McMillen, the creator of The Binding of Isaac, has revealed a new game – and it’s pretty much in the vein of what you’d expect from his creative mind.

Dubbed simply “Fingered,” the “whodunit hyperrealisic police sim” is getting a preemptive release, only for PC on August 18th.

The goal of the game is cleaning up the streets of America, via pointing fingers at the guilty people in a police line-up. The only thing you have to help you discern the guilty ones are descriptions from local gossip.

Now, you can probably understand where the game is going with this.

McMillen put out a warning, however. “One man’s fat is another man’s sexy,” reads the game’s description. Coming from this, you’ll have to separate the wheat from the chaff, so to speak, in eventually finding your culprit – by seeing through lies and confusion.

Lastly, McMillen said that Fingered has “21 levels of confusion,” with billions of randomly generated people, some of which are even celebrities.

For now, you can peruse the Steam Page for Fingered, while we wait for its release.
