Eden's Zero

Edens Zero, the manga from Hiro Mashima, the creator behind popular series like Rave Master and Fairy Tail, will end its story soon.

According to the latest issue (25th) of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine, the manga will end within five chapters on June 26.

Mashima launched Edens Zero in Weekly Shonen in 2018; so far thirty-one chapters had been published.

An anime based on the manga was aired in 2021, with a second season aired on April 2023. Toshinori Watabe from JC Staff directed the anime, with Yurika Sato providing the character designs and Mitsutaka Hirota composing the script.

The series has been published in America by Kodansha USA. The manga is described as follows:

At Granbell Kingdom, an abandoned amusement park, Shiki has lived his entire life among machines. But one day, Rebecca and her cat companion Happy appear at the park’s front gates. Little do these newcomers know that this is the first human contact Granbell has had in a hundred years! As Shiki stumbles his way into making new friends, his former neighbors stir at an opportunity for a robo-rebellion…And when his old homeland becomes too dangerous, Shiki must join Rebecca and Happy on their spaceship and escape into the boundless cosmos.
