Ed Boon promises to fix Mortal Kombat 1’s Switch port

Mortal Kombat 1 Nintendo Switch

Mortal Kombat 1‘s Nintendo Switch version has been ridiculed by the internet for its low-poly look, but fixes are coming.

In a recent interview, series creator and NetherRealm Studios director Ed Boon has promised that changes are coming to the game’s Nintendo Switch version.

“We will absolutely be updating the Nintendo Switch version,” Boon said to the BBC. “It would have been ideal, I think, for us to release the version that we absolutely wanted, but anything that we are finding a problem with is on our list and is going to be fixed.”

Mortal Kombat 1 was just launched on September 19th across PC (via Steam and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PlayStation 5.
